PataFEST Multi-Stakeholder Platform:

A Space for Collaboration in the Potato Sector

PataFEST is a European project focused on advancing sustainable potato crop protection and supporting the transition toward more resilient agricultural systems. As part of its activities, PataFEST features a Multi-Stakeholder Platform that provides an open and interactive space for collaboration across the potato sector.

Designed as an accessible hub, the platform invites researchers, farmers, policymakers, advisors, and citizens to connect, learn, and contribute to a more sustainable future for potato production. It is a digital space created to bring together everyone involved in shaping the future of potato crop protection.

More than a technical tool, the platform functions as a collaborative hub aimed at encouraging conversations, building connections, and supporting smarter and more sustainable decisions across the potato value chain. It provides easy access to carefully curated information and welcomes contributions from researchers, farmers, advisors, policymakers, industry partners, and interested citizens. Conceived as a living knowledge hub, it continues to evolve as new insights, experiences, and needs emerge throughout the project.

Platform Sections

Resource Library
The PataFEST Resource Library brings together practical knowledge and scientific insights on potato crop protection and sustainable agriculture. As Europe advances toward more resilient food systems, this space provides selected materials on integrated pest management, soil health, agroecology, and related topics.

Users can access:

  • Reports and guidelines

  • Specialized publications

  • Educational materials

  • Data and statistics

The library supports informed choices, collaboration, and innovation within and beyond Europe.

Related Initiatives and Projects
This section connects users with other relevant efforts in the agri-food and bioeconomy sectors, helping them discover complementary work and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Engagement Opportunities
The Engagement section serves as a meeting point where stakeholders from across Europe and beyond can share experiences and promote sustainable solutions in potato farming. It fosters dialogue, highlights best practices, and supports innovation across regions and disciplines.

Citizen Science
Developed in collaboration with European Citizen Science Association, this space brings potato research closer to society. Visitors can access webinars, workshops, podcasts, and maps of Citizen Science initiatives in agriculture. It invites citizens to take an active role in research by contributing observations, perspectives, and insights that enrich scientific work and support sustainable transitions.

The platform is open to everyone, and every contribution matters. Explore the platform and become part of the growing PataFEST community.
